Coats in car seats?
I know coats in car seats are no bueno with a 5 point harness. What about if the child is strapped into a booster seat using a regular seatbelt? DD1 is in kindergarten and average-sized, if that makes a difference.

My DD is 7 now but we moved her to a booster (with the back) and the regular seatbelt when she turned 6, she wore her regular winter coat when in the car. Once they are using a regular seatbelt I don't see it as being any different than a grown adult wearing their coat in the car.
