Cocktail Party Menu Ideas
I am going to be hosting a martini/cocktail party.
Here's my ideas so far for appetizers:
- rosemary roasted cashews
- crostini with slow roasted tomatoes
-perhaps pigs in a blanket since it's my friends favorite
Other ideas for easy apps? Prefer things that can be served room temperature. I do have one 3 section buffet warmer for hot things.

Apples and Pears with dollops of marscapone or brie.
Roasted shrimp cocktail is a HUGE favorite (Ina Garten's recipe.. except I sprinkle liberally with fresh minced garlic before roasting)
Soup shooters.. since it's Autumn I'd do a creamy squash or potato.. no big chunks.
Roasted Peppers with fresh mozzarella
Clams or Oysters on the halfshell
Potato croquettes
Pot stickers
Lollipop Lamb Chops
Sushi Grade sliced tuna with wasabi and sesame soy dipping sauce
A carving station with either poultry or meat and some au jus or gravy is nice. You can have one of your hot stations be lightly grilled vegetable medley and another with a starch - a mashed potato with a variety of topping options or a rice pilaf.

chicken and spinach wrapped in bacon
wonton taco cups
spinach balls
bake clams
stuffed mushrooms
shrimp cocktail
pizza... cut into little bite and make a unique kind
fried ravioli
BBQ or swedish meatballs

Excluding things people already named, (I have made all of these recipes within the last month & if you want any FM me):
Heirloom tomato tart in black pepper parmesan crust
Spinach quiche
Mac & Cheese cups (they're self contained small bites in crust so they keep their shape)
Chicken, Rice, and Mango in Lettuce Wraps
Spicy bacon wrapped shrimp
Chorizo-Stuffed Ancho Chiles
Homemade Hummus w Pita
Homemade pesto, sliced tomato & fresh mozzarella pizza (cut into bite sized pieces)
Teriyaki burger sliders
Crab Cakes
Corn salsa with tortillas
Pear, Spinach Potato salad
I’m sure I’m forgetting a few things but these are just a few appetizers I made recently
