"Cold Shoulder" Dresses and Tops?
Yay or Nay? Not necessarily this one, but I like this one more than some I've seen. I feel like the openings on the arms has to be just right.
ETA: I dunno, maybe I just like the fun name.

Re: "Cold Shoulder" Dresses and Tops?
I'm sorry but I hate them I think they look ridiculous on - reminds me of something a teenager might wear when trying to look cool. I'm just not a fan.

Re: "Cold Shoulder" Dresses and Tops?
I think they can be cute but they have to be just right. The one you posted would make my arms look huge, but I have a cap sleeve top that is open at the shoulders and it looks cute on that one...definitely a case-by-case basis!

Re: "Cold Shoulder" Dresses and Tops?
I thought I liked them (my 22 year old sister wears them out and they look so cute on!) but I wore one and when i saw pics they make me arms look bigger than they are...so no more for me. But on the right person, i think they're cute!

Re: "Cold Shoulder" Dresses and Tops?
I like them and have quite a few of them, but i consider my shoulders and upper arms one of my better assets. my DH really likes them on me as well, which is another reason why I buy them.
I have 3 of these in different colors from VS: Cold shoulder dress
And others from F21.

I have one, and I like it. But I guess it would depend on the shirt.

Re: "Cold Shoulder" Dresses and Tops?
I think it depends on who's wearing it. I don't have great arms so anything to highlight them is a nay for me. If you have fabulous arms, rock it!

Re: "Cold Shoulder" Dresses and Tops?
My arms aren't bad... not fabulous by any means, but they don't jiggle much. Maybe I'll try some on- I don't want to buy that one because it's online at Modcloth. I want to try it on and see how big the openings are before I buy anything. Thanks everyone!

Re: "Cold Shoulder" Dresses and Tops?
I have one from last year but the hole in the shoulder is MUCH smaller than that picture. In fact, my hair covers it so it's not really visable. I am not a fan, but I loved the dress and wanted it so badly that I overlooked that part of it!
Here is the link to the one I have. As you can see it's very understated on the cold shoulder part!

I normally say NAY!! But only you know what it looks like on you. If you put some fabulous shoes I think you can ROCK it.

Right? And the shoulders holes are very small and understated. Still, when I wear it I feel weird with my shoulders exposed like that- but my hair covers it mostly anyway. I couldn't resist that dress. LOVE the pattern!

funny, i actually think this is a great option for someone who doesnt want to show their entire arm! the outter part is usually the least troublesome part of an arm - I would feel more comrfortable in this than strapless!

I like them. I have a few blouses in this style.... But I couldn't wear them confidently until I worked on my arms...
