college question.

I had to take a English class before I went into college level class. SO we had to do an essay for class and pick one which I did and have another teacher read it. Well the teacher said it wasn't good enough now I have to retake it. Well not just me but like 10 other students have to retake the class. Well I feel like teacher did a horrible job at teaching us. She barely came to class.,very nasty lost our papers. Well I went and file a complaint with the English dept. I told them I felt like my money was wasted she was very nasty. She cancel class every other day. She didn't teach me well and I feel like I was wronged. Some students that didn't even come to class passed. I had to take a test to for placement and I passed but now IM feeling like this is going to get bad because I went and basically told them what's on my mind. Not just me but 10 other students did..She wanted to be a lawyer and passed the bar but she went into teaching I could tell she hates her job.. Has anyone ever file a complaint about a teacher in college . IM waiting for them to call me to go to talk but I have a feeling just because I did this . It will not help my case.

i would go right to the dean. and i would have specific dates when the teacher missed class.

go to the chair of the department, if that doesn't work then the dean and if that doesn't work then provost and lastly you write a email or certified letter to the president of the college.

thanks..well i know one kid from my kid went to the dean. i know alot of kids from class went to the dept because they didnt look very happy.

You can give her a negative rating on ratemyprofessor.com and warn other students about her.
