I have officially been bedrested! Bad morning today!UPDATED WITH A QUESTION AT BOTTOM!
So i have been fighting a horrible cold since Saturday. Massive sore throat and can't breathe through my nose at all. last night i had a fever of 100.3 and went to the OB. They ended up putting my on a Z-Pack and did a sono and found the baby has her head pushing on my cervix, basically as low as she can be. She has been breech the entire pregnancy, this is the first time she has been head down, so i am bedrested until they say otherwise, they are hoping she moves off my cervix so we will see. Hopefully i can sleep now, i have gotten more than 3 hours a night since Saturday. I was exhausted at my baby shower sunday.
Looks like i will on this board more than i usually am, hope you ladies don't mind.

Welcome to the bedrest club!!! You will def be able to relax a lot more, I know I am. Take it easy and I hope your feeling better soon and your little girl moves off your cervix soon

welcome to the world of bedrest!! i'm on bedrest for 3 weeks, the baby is on my cervix and low and hopefully gravity will slow it down so i can make it to 36 w... i'm 34 now

Thank you ladies, inappreciate all the "get wells". Im still waiting for the meds to kick in and feel better.
I have a question though, on bedrest...what do you ladies do with your time while your are on bedrest??

i was on bed rest for 4 months, i watched TV, read books, watched movies, searched the net. Honestly its good alone time, and peace and quiet. And the first 2 weeks were hard, alittle depressing, but then after a while i got into a routine, and it was like old hat to me.

First, hugs. I was on bed rest with DS for 6 weeks. I made a routine. I slept in until 9 am. Which after having DS is a real luxury. I would watch the Today show and have breakfast. Then by about 10 I would go on the computer. One of my best friends would IM me through out the day to keep my sanity. I would get daily calls from other friends at certain times of the day. DH came home from work (only 10 minutes from our house) and he would make me my lunch and sit with me for 40 minutes. His coming home really broke up the day for me and made it nice. In the afternoon I would read. DH got me a lot of books and magazines. Some times I played solitaire. Other times I would go back on the computer (LIF, the nest, babycenter). Since I was too swollen I could not knit, or else I would have. I took a nap at 3. I would watch oprah at 4. DH would come home soon after 5 so I had him to keep me company. I would get daily calls from my mom, mil, grandma, and friends. Those helped me get through it a lot b/c I still felt social with the calls. I really did not have many people over b/c it was just to difficult, but everyone was really understanding and over all wonderful.

ive been on bedrest for almost 2 weeks and im going crazy! ive been trying to read some books, watch tv(but there is nothing good ever on!) i try to sleep till 9 then get up eat breakfast and park my butt on the couch for the day lol it stinks but its for something good.
