Come in moms who have one DC who is 18 months and just not ready for another one yet...

Just wondering who has one DC around 18 months and is not ready for another yet.

When do you want to try to concieve?? Do you think it will be easier if you wait a few years between kiddos?

Just wondering some people keep asking me when we will try and I am just not there yet. I still have not forgot the last pregnancy!

DS is 21 months but since he was born I haven't been over the moon for another one. No reflection on him, I just can see myself with only one.

As much as I would love to be done, I want more to give my son a sibling, and hey! It's another kid to take care of me when I'm old!!!!

So, even though I am not dying for another one, I would really like to have another soon just so I can be done with childbearing and move on to seeing my children grow up.

I just wrote something identical to this last week and got some really good feedback.....

So, even though I am not dying for another one yet, I would really like to have another soon just so I can be done with childbearing and move on to seeing my children grow up.

That is exactly how I feel I want another just not now but at the same time I want to be done so I can enjoy them grow up!! I think I am thinkinmg to much!

DD just turned 2 last week and I'm not even thinking of having another one any time soon, if ever. If we do have another DC it wont happen for another 2 yrs or so. Maybe when DD is 4-5. I'm 29 now so I do want to try and get pregnant before I'm 35 (if we decide have another one, that is) I guess we'll see.

DS is 20 m onths and the bug just bite me!

For me what really has done it, is seeing DS playing with other kids. At this age he really interacts, tries to share, etc and I want a sibling for him.

For me I could be done, I love being a mom but I dont think I will feel more fulfilled by having another child. BUt I want DS to have the connection with another child that I had with my brothers (we dont always get along but I can't imagine NOT having a sibling)

Now if only I could get that bug to bite DH in the tush we would be all set!

DS is 21 months and he was born 10 weeks premature....as a result we have been through alot with him medically, etc. Not to mention the 6 week NICU stay and absolutely terrifying birth experience. We do plan on having another, but I am thinking maybe we will try at the end of this school year (I am a teacher). If that happens, the kids will be about 3ish years apart....okay with me.

DD is almost 16 months and we'll be trying next summer so our children will hopefully be 3 years apart :) that will probably be it for us, but who knows!
