COMPUTERS
I am in the market for a new desktop PC. The one I have now is an HP and I am not too thrilled with it. What do you have? How do you like it?

We have a Dell and I'll never select another non-Dell computer after having this one and having a compaq before.

aLthough we are in the market or a laptop, we have two Dell desktops and are very happy with them. They are Dell Optiplex 280's.

I will only purchase Dell computers, for both work and home.
I got a great 'home' laptop for only 400 dollars, and it has more then I could ever ask for in that situation.
Some people complain about the customer service, but I never have a problem, although I contact them via their support chat and not over the phone. I'm also lucky that I know computers enough that I can give the right information, technical terms and descriptions that I usually get what I need quickly (a part, etc.)

I have a Dell Dimension 8200. I don't really have many complaints about it...other than a couple of viruses I CANNOT get ride of, but that's not the computer's fault. Generally I like Dells, although after being an IT technician, I HATE their customer service.
That being said, we're in the market for a new one, and are seriously debating getting a Mac.
