So far in May im seeing SLASH FEATURING MYLES KENNEDY & THE CONSPIRATORS. Cant wait!!!
They put on a great show.
For me, so far: Seether Papa Roach In Flames/All that Remains Avatar/Five Finger Death Punch Foo Fighters (5 times in July ) Slipknot Maybe Manson/Smashing Pumpkins
Hoping that Avatar releases some dates in the North East
Skipping Rock on the Range this year, since we've seen the majority of the bands in other locations over the past year.
Awesome lineup you have there! Jealous! lol.

Billy Joel tomorrow
Will probably end up going to ZBB in August. I'd skip it because we saw them 2x last summer but DH wants to go.

So far this year I have seen
Fleetwood Mac Hosier 10,000 Maniacs
We are taking a break until summer and then will see what around.
How were 10,000 Maniacs? I'm thinking of seeing them at City Winery.
Really good. I saw them at the Aquarium and it was super small so I was literally within touching distance. They played a good mix of old stuff and more recent things and even did a Cure song.

Most people think DH and I are crazy.
Last year we went to ~40 shows, 6 of them full day festivals. The festivals were all more than a 10 hour drive away each way, because rock is dead in the NE.
This year so far, our farthest concert is Avatar/Five Finger Death Punch in New Orleans. We will probably leave after 5 minutes of FFDP, so that will mean we flew 10 hours and many dollars for a 30 minute set. Next time, it may be cheaper for us to see them in their home country, Sweden.

Ones I'm considering:
Going to Boston for the Courtney Love/Lana Del Ray tour
.
Do you already have tickets for Boston? I didn't think Courtney Love was going to be with her on the Boston Dates ... but hoping I am wrong.
It is on my maybe list too and wish she would just come to NY and make it easier!
I don't have tickets, but I do remember her being confirmed for it. Although with Courtney, anything could change based on her mood!

Re: Concerts
My show going days were dramatically reduced since DS was born 3 year ago - there are a lot of shows that i would see, but don't have easy babysitting options on a weeknight!
However, this year so far i'm managing to see:
Faith No More at Webster Hall in May Slayer at the Paramount in July 311 at one of the NJ/NY dates in July

Wait are they playing with Natalie?! I saw her last year and wasnt impressed... she had a huge stick up her ass and was incredibly rude to the band. Saw her in concert a lot in the 90's and 00's and always loved her then!

Has anyone been to a concert at Bethel Woods ? Wondering if the venue is good.
Thinking about seeing Brad Paisley with Justin Moore in July, and then Tony Bennett with Lady Gaga the following day.
The grounds are gorgeous at Bethel. Beautiful views, nice atmosphere. If you do lawn seating, they rent out low chairs but you definitely lose sound quality. Sitting under the pavilion will protect from rain. Another thing about the rain, if you don't get there super early or get priority parking you might be sloshing through mud surrounded by woods in the dark.

Bethel Woods is nice. Mostly covered outdoor seating. Fairly small venue. It's quite a trek from LI though.

Very true! Just double check, I looked last week and there was no mention of her coming East. That will play a big role in my decision to go or not.

And I'm going to keep an eye on prices for what I'm calling the "Lead B itches and Their Backup Bands" tour - Smashing Pumpkins and Marilyn Manson If it's a show that's going to drop ticket prices closed to the date, I may go to that.
FYI, I saw either a Groupon or a LivingSocial deal for this. I think it was a few price tiers, 20/30/40 kind of thing.

Re: Concerts
Bumping this up...my fellow '90's music fans are going to get a kick out of this.
I got tickets for L7 at Irving...I am counting down the days, I love them so so so much!!!
Also have tickets for Hum and Failure at Webster Hall! Unbelievable that they're both touring again...amazing that they're touring TOGETHER!!!
And I may get tickets for Babes in Toyland too.
