Re: Concerts
Well no surprise that the Pumpkins and Manson aren't selling tickets...just got seven tickets for basically free. So I'll be going to that with a bunch of friends
Probably going to the Rock Carnival in NJ too.

Foo Fighters are selling a 'Broken Leg 2015 tour' tshirt at their pop-up store, listing all the US tour dates on the back.
I guess it's on?

The Dave Grohl throne is hilarious. And means that the show must go on.

I just saw the pics on facebook! Hilarious! DH thinks the concert will suck if he can't move around though. I wonder what people who went last night thought.

Definitely going to the Rock Carnival now, they added Pop Evil for Saturday!
Only issue would be is that my favorite band from Sweden will be in the US at that time. They get priority over most bands since they are so far away.

I listened to an interview with the two of them on Sunday and it was like a contest on who could use the biggest words (a/k/a who could sound like the bigger douche).

We had a good time seeing them at the beach, but it was like being at two different concerts.

We picked up tickets at the last minute. Agree it was a weird vibe. We got there for Manson and left directly after. A bunch of people did the same.
Not going to Rock Carnival to see Pop Evil, since my favorite band will be in the US so we will travel to 4 shows to see them. Same days as Rock Carnival, boo.
Rockers and Metalheads - See AVATAR at Revolution in Amityville on 9/17!

Maybe we'll run into each other, lol! I can't wait. I love Zac so much, but this is the first time I'm actually seeing them in concert! I've only heard great things about them live. My BF is not a country fan, but I'm trying to convert him, we have gone to a bunch of shows this summer. But I have heard people who don't like country and have gone to a ZBB show say that it is one of the best they ever saw.

Yeah - those people make me smirk. It's funny - I had someone, who really isn't the brightest bulb but whatever -- I had someone say to me once, "oh we went to see Zac Brown because I'm not really INTO country and he's not really TYPICAL COUNTRY".... Umm, dude whatever you want to tell yourself, Zac is as country, Georgia-boy, born and raised, bluegrass, songs like The Wind, etc. as they come! So, someone like that just doesn't want to admit to themselves that they like country. LOL!
I don't care because I have LOVED country since I was in diapers. But yeah it's funny how people, and more than one person, told me they have gone to Zac because he isn't "typical country" or "what you would think country is" -- and it's funny because when they tell me that, I say, if you ever said that *TO Zac* he would be unbelievably offended. Because, in his mind, being as country as you can be is the biggest and best thing ever... and saying that he is what defines country would be the biggest compliment to him. Saying that you like his music because it doesn't sound like country is such a slap in the face. So, yeah it's a cringe-worthy statement and you are right, I hear it a lot!!!
I've met him a few times and I'll likely be meeting him again this next show -- I should talk to him about that. I bet he would get a chuckle.
You'll be blown away though - it's his vocal ability. It's unmatched.

So, row six in the stands??
Like, not on the field??
Because he has a pit -- so you are actually sitting -- as the levels go up? In where the baseball seats are? If I'm understanding correctly.

I am going to the Friday night show. this is my second concert I went to my first one last year .. my friend got free tickets and it was on my birthday so I said I would go. I started listening to them a couple of weeks before I went and fell in love .
I will say though they maybe country but a lot of their music is not typical country music esp. the new album its all over the place but I love it!
