Confirmed swine flu at the school I work!

Today I found out that the elementary school I work at has 2 confirmed swine flu cases with both hospitalized! My husband who is also a teacher also found out today that his school has confirmed cases! I am freaking out, I am 36 weeks and I know our immune systems are especially weakened in the 3rd trimester. My doctor had been pushing me to stop working anyway and will probably say to stop now because of this, but it's not going to make a difference because I will still be exposed by my husband at home. Not happy!

I would def. stop working.

Yeah the problem is that my husband can't stop working too, so he will continue to bring home the germs from his school. I have a doctor appointment tomorrow, so I will bring it up. I am in a school in Manhattan.

Call your doc. I had a scare of exposure on Friday and they said if I was exposed for sure they would give me Tamaflu.

I would definitely stay home. I have a friend that is pg and a teacher and has gotten a note from her OB to not have to go in since her school also has some confirmed cases.
