If you've been a consultant for a year and know there's no end in site to the position, would you ask to be a fulltimer?

The company I'm with typically hires consultants and then convert to fulltme status them after a year or so...

It's been a year and nearly 1 month now since i started working there. I'm wondering if I should bring it up.

The stability definitely helps, but I'm afraid of what they will say considering that they know I'm now almost 6 months pregnant. :(
