contacts or eye glasses during labor?
can we wear either one or do they make you wear glasses?
i know its a question out of the blue but im curious

Well I had my contacts in during labor and I ended up needing a C section and I just left them in.... I can't remember when I finally took them off, LOL.

with my DD i had my contacts in during labor and my eyes got really dried out, and i forgot my eye drops and case to put them in so we were searching over the hospital to get them.
Thankfully this time around i've since had lasik so im just going to bring my rewetting drops.
FYI: If you go with the contacts, make sure to bring rewetting drops

I'll keep my contacts in. I've been wearing contacts for 15 years and they never bother me. I hate wearing glasses.

They advised me to take my contacts out during labor. So, I wore my glasses, which was fine.

I wore my glasses during labor. I NEVER wear, them but the last thing I wanted were my eyes to bother me while pushing- I didn't want to strain them...
It was no big deal... I wasn't looking so hot...contacts would not have made a difference

I wear glasses but have contacts just don't wear them bc i found them annoying. I think I am going to bring my glasses.

get a pair of glasses that you like, b/c the last thing you feel like doing is having your contacts in!!! AS soon as contractions came on and I got to the hospital, ir was glasses all the way!!

I wore my contacts during labor and glad I did. I was so sweating from the pushing, I could of never kept my glasses on, I NEED to see!
