Convertible carseats...WWYD?
We have to put DS in his convertible seat very soon and was wondering what you would do....
We have the Britax Marathon right now, would you pay the extra $50 to upgrade to the BOulevard? It has better side impact protection, and we received the seat as a gift, so it's not like we would be spending a whole lot more to upgrade it.....
Would you.....
1-upgrade to the Boulevard? 2-Get a completely different seat altogether? 3-keep the Marathon?

I'm a little biased.... I have a Boulevard, for the reasons you mentioned, so I would opt for the Boulevard.....

I would keep the Marathon. Both my girls have one and I love it.

I didn't even know there was a new version out. When was it released? How do you go about "upgrading?" Just return the Marathon and buy a Boulevard, or is there a certain procedure for doing this?
TIA

From what I gathered, she is thinking of bringing the Marathon back to the store, getting the store credit, and using that credit plus and additional $50 to buy the Boulevard.
The Boulevard has been out for several years (we've had ours for about 2.5 years). DS has the Wizard, which came before the Boulevard, and we've had his about 5.5 years.

Yes, it's a Britax. It's their high-end one. Up until a few months ago, it was their only one with Side Impact Protection, which is why a lot of people like it, myself included.
