Convertible Twin Cribs?
Hi everyone! I am crashing from pregnancy. I am wondering if anyone knows of any companies that make convertible twin cribs. I am trying to see if we can go with this option instead of the regular convertible crib (which converts to a full sized bed) due to space issues.
Any feedback of info would be greatly appreciated!!!
Thanks!

Re: Convertible Twin Cribs?
The convertible cribs that I've seen (and have) all use standard sized crib mattresses. In order to use a standard crib mattress, the eventual headboard/footboard is full size, not twin size.
A crib mattress is 52" wide, and a full mattress is 54" wide. A twin is 39" wide. It would be hard, if not impossible to find a crib 39" by 28".

Re: Convertible Twin Cribs?
ihave you tried googling it? i do know that any "custom" sized cribs like round...twin....ovall..etc are expensive on sheets...so thats something to think about...we thought about round cribs in the beginning being we will need 2 in one bedroom but they are crazy expensive and don't turn into anything after that.....we found normal cribs at bbb and at behrs that are gorgeous and not huge space invaders!...hth

Yes I did try googling it without much luck. I don't think they make many twin convertibles. We may just have to get a normal (non convertible) crib then.
Thanks for the reply!
