Cookie press questions
So I made my grandmas butter cookies in the cookie press on Sunday the first dozen came out great. all the batches after the perfect batch, the dough was sticking to the press. I did wait for sheets to cool completely. Any ideas???

What did you do with the dough between batches? Since you let the cookie sheets cool, most likely the dough got too warm in the hot kitchen.

Gonna try another batch this week. Every year since she passed I try to make them and never get it right. We always made them together

To cool the trays try sticking htem in the freezer for a few minutes. Takes 1/4 of the time vs letting them cool regularly.
I agree your dough probably got too warm also keep the unused dough away from the stove area.
