copying an idea from the nest.... " Do you feel you have a good life?"

there was a thread on the nest about this, and i thought it might get some discussion going here, too.... so, do you feel like you have a good life right now??
ETA: the idea was to be thankful for all the good things you hvae going on in your life right now, instead of always looking at the negatives...

to answer my own question, i do feel like i have a good life. I hvae a great relationship with DH, and just moved into our nice "forever" house in a great neighborhood.
DH and i are both lucky enough that we have jobs that pay well, but also let us have lives outside of work. i'm home by 3:30 everyday, hes usually home by 5. so we have plenty of time after work to catch up on things, take care of things around the house, cook dinner together every night... we also both have great families, and we have a big group of friends, who are like a second family to us.... so i gotta say, life isn't so bad right now

I have a great life. I know it and I try to be thankful for it every day. I have a great DH who loves me and treats me well, we both have our health. We have a wonderful extended family and friends who all have their health and are so loving. We make enough money to not only get by, but own some nice things, and put money in savings every month. We don't own a home or have children, but see both of those things happening at some point. And in this coming year, we will both be following our passions professionally. Of course there's things we don't have that we'd like and we don't always get what we want, but we have more than enough of what's most important.

Yes, I think I'm living a VERY good life right now. I've never been happier!!

Whenever I'm down I always try to think about the positives, and remind myself that things could be MUCH worse.

I definitely think I have a good life. In fact, a GREAT life! I work with people everyday who don't have much. From items like clothes/cars/money to people who don't have a family. Some of the kids I work with have NO family. For some, I am their family. And, it makes me so sad. So, when I get home at night, I thank God for what I have and the people in my life who love and support me. Yeah, sometimes I wish I had more....but when I look at the bigger picture, I wouldn't change a thing.

i have a GREAT life!!! Beautiful children who are all healthy, the love of my life has vowed to love me forever, my family is awesome.... i love my job what more can you ask for?

I like threads like this b/c they help me keep things in perspective. I have been pretty unhappy careerwise lately, but the truth of the matter is that I have a good job, a husband who loves me, and wonderful family and friends. So yes, I do have a good life!

I think I have a great life actually. Of course, I can complain with the best of them - but when it comes down to it - the important things I have.

A great husband, beautiful son, wonderful family and friends, a great home, and our health. The only thing that would have made it perfect was if we didn't lose our dog last week. It's amazing how your life is really all that you want it to be - and you don't even know it at the time.

I know I have a great life. DH, family, job, etc.

I'm trying to focus on the good stuff but it's a bit hard at the moment.

Absolutely!! I never knew I could be so happy in life. I have an AMAZINGLY wonderful husband, a baby girl coming this month, a place to live, a loving family, all the necessities in life and the optimism of all the great things the future holds for us. I could not be happier.

I do. And whenever things get cr@ppy I remind myself it could be worse. I know it's cheesy, but I always remember something my grandma says when somethign goes wrong... "If this is the worst thing to happen to me in my life then i'll have led a good life."

I have a great life. I never would've imagined this for me 10 years ago, but I am so very thankful for it.

Overall it could be worse but I am thankful for what I do have. Too bad I focus too much on what I DONT have.

I am very thankful for my loving husband and the family we are building. I am thankful for all of our luxuries that we work very hard for.

All in all, I appreciate everything I have and feel I am very blessed.

i try to live everyday looking at the positives and not the negatives.

i think i have a great life. sure im not rich or famous. but what i have is a wonderful family who loves me and will always help me, friends that are kick azz and are always there to make me smile, and a husband that i love more than anything in the world and who completes me. and in my book thats pretty damn good!

Yes I do....DH and I both have good jobs and are in a good place. We also have good families and are very close with them.

Yes my life is great! I've had so many experiences that I never imagined would happen to me.

Yes, I feel I have a very good life. I start my day everyday by saying Thank you for all the great things in my life. Dh & I both have good career paths, I have recently achieved some work related goals that I wanted for a very long time. Our children are healthy & happy.
Over the last few years I have become much more aware of environmental issues & we are always trying to live a more simplified life. We are blessed with great family & friends. Our house has become the house that hosts all of the holidays & we are making great memories. Most of the stresses we went through 5 years ago when we got married & blended our family(we both had children) have worked themselves out & our family is solid. I have pets that I love & never dreamed I have. I've had opportunities to volunteer & do things for others that have really made me a better person.
The list goes on, I'm truly living the good life.
