Corner kitchen sink
i have a corner sink and don't mind the sink but think behind it is wasted space and i can't fit a drainboard next to it. i have to use a towel.
how you do feel about your corner sink?

Re: Corner kitchen sink
I have a corner sink , and I store pour canisters behind it bc I hate things on my work surface, LOL. I love it, frees up a lot of useful counterspace. As for the drain, get one of the ones that you can hang across the sink.

Re: Corner kitchen sink
I have one and am not crazy about it. When we re-do the kitchen, I will probably move it.
I have a Simple Human drying rack from BBB that is small that fits the space.

Re: Corner kitchen sink
my parents had a corner sink and i made them change it when they did their reno. There is something about looking outside when doing dishes is so relaxing. They had a spice cabinet above it and for behind the sink they had fake plants/flowers.

Re: Corner kitchen sink
I have one and I hate it. It's not convenient for a dish drain. I found a really pretty decorative combo dish towel paper towel rack to go behind it so that space isn't wasted. I would never do a corner sink again though.

Re: Corner kitchen sink
I don't have one, but I wouldn't buy any house with a corner sink when we were looking because it bothered me so much.

Re: Corner kitchen sink
i personally hate it but i have a small kitchen and the way they did the corner sink was to separate the kitchen for a eat in bfast area, but i have 0 counter space and no room for drying rack other than in the small sink, so that doesnt work either...... so like i said i HATE It!!!!!!!!!!

Then its not so bad in my mind. The void doesn't bother me so much as light. Some people think if you have a dishwasher you don't need the light so much but you do when your doing pots & pans, etc. Even at night its lighter by the window i find.

Re: Corner kitchen sink
We just moved ours to the corner, mainly so we can have more counter space. The corner was dead space and there was not enough room to work with the sink breaking up the main counter. Our wall has 2 windows so there is still a window close to the sink but not directly over it like it was before. We decided it was more important for us to have the uninterrupted counterspace.

Hate it for the same reasons as you.
I want Rob to relocate it to under the window.

Re: Corner kitchen sink
I don't love or hate it. It is fine and it's the best use of space in my kitchen, from both a counter and lower cabinet standpoint. I have found use for the space behind it - I have my knife set there - my kids can't reach it and a fw other things. I am able to fit a drainboard next to mine but I often put the drainboard away so I would be fine with a towel there.
