Cost difference fresh/frozen cycle...
Hey everyone !....Question for those of you experienced with IVF...Just got back from the Dr. and it appears I did not respond to the Clomid this month- No follicles maturing and a thin lining...They haven't totally counted me out yet, Im going back next Saturday for another sono but I've been down this road before and I dont think anything will be any different when I go back ...Just so I have an idea - When we do our 1st IVF cycle , if I dont conceive and they do a frozen cycle the following month- What is the difference in cost???? I hope that makes sense...Also, does a frozen cycle immediately follow a fresh cycle the next month or is there a lag in time at all (pardon my ignorance, Im am so clueless with this, hopefully I'll get more educated when I go to my injections class next Saturday !)Thanks and a happy New Years Eve to you all !

Re: Cost difference fresh/frozen cycle...
I did frozen cycles immediately following fresh. If you do a natural cycle, there is little or no drug cost - but if you aren't ovulating on your own you would probably need to do a hormone replacement cycle. This means you take Estrogen for approx. two weeks, PIO shots for a few days, transfer, then progesterone suppositories for two weeks. I think the total cost runs about $2500 - $3500 including meds.
