Cost Gas fireplace?
We currently have a wood burning fireplace and want to convert to gas. We have gas heat so we know it won't be that expensive. Has anyone converted their wood burning fireplace to gas? What kind of cost are we looking at?

Re: Cost Gas fireplace?
We added a gas fireplace. I believe the log set was somewhere around $500. I cant tell you how much the install was because it was part of a much bigger job. We had gas in the street, so we had to get permit, run to the house, etc... I will tell you that I absolutely love it!!! Worth every penny, turns on and off with a remote!! It also gives off alot of heat.
