cost of converting oil to gas heat???
We are looking to buy a house and will probably close in Dec. She currently has oil heat but it's on it's way out. So she asked us if we wanted to convert to gas. I think we want to b/c i hear it is cheaper. My question is....has anyone done this recently or can give me a round about price of what it would cost to do this??? She told me that she would help us out a little.

you need to call your local gas company and ask them what it would cost....
some people it is as little at $3k, ... some more, like for us, we were quoted $41K  -- NO GAS LINES TO THE bLOCK.
