cough
My dd has had a cold and cough since Saturday...called the DR and she told me that unless she had a fever she doesnt need to be seen..the cough is raspy sounding and she gets into these fits and ends up gagging on the phlem (sp?) Ive been giving her lots of fluids and hoping this will pass...do you think she needs to be seen???

Re: cough
How old is your daughter? You can use saline drops in her nose as well as the nasal asperator to try and help clear out some of the mucus that she has.
Also at around 2.5 months when Emily was very stuffed up the doctor OK'd us to get these drops by Little Noses that had a decongestant in them. I think it was 2 drops in each nostril every 6 hours or so. It's extrememly diluted Sudafed. I'd OK anything like that with the doctor first though.
Hope she's feeling better!
