Could I really notice a difference this fast? Nutramigen related..
Its been about 24hrs and I feel like I have a different kid. After having 3 feedings yesterday on it, she FINALLY fell asleep after being so uncomfy all day that she couldnt and she slept from 730-330am!!!! Then she got up, ate and fell back asleep and thats been the story pretty much all day.
she has NOT cried during feedings, has not grunted and turned red, has not seemed uncomfy or like she is struggling at all!!!!!The only time she even cried today was when she was hungry and I was getting her bottle ready!!! Right now she is laying on my bed with me just hanging out.. happy as can be!!!!
I dont want to jinx it.. but could this really be such a quick fix?

Did you call your insurance, b/c you could possibly get that formula covered!

Both kids were on Nutramigen and IMO, it's the miracle formula!
Glad she is doing better!

Good for you, it wasnt that quick for my DD..usually she got super fussy with a change and then it got better..
took about a week or so for us

Not Nutramigen but Alimentum (similac) and YEP, within hrs my DD was a different baby!
Amazing isnt it.
Def see if insurance will cover the cost. Mine did for a yr and then some.
Happy to hear she is doing better!

When we switched DD to alimentum I noticed an improvement immediately - the first day. And isn't it so good to know that you figured out what her problem was? IMO that was the best part for me, as a new parent to know that I was able to help my baby finally feel better after feeling so helpless when she was crying in pain.
I'm glad she's feeling better!

could be. When we switched Liam to the Gentlease I saw a difference within 24 hours. I pray this makes Sadie happy.

I agree. I noticed a change immediately with DS.
I love this formula
Talk to your pediatrician about getting some samples. They'll be 8 oz cans. We also got 6 RTF cans complimentary from the office as well.

The 8 oz cans are powdered. The RTF cans the office did something where they were delivered to me. I brought those to his school and let them use those with DS. It was a one time deal but it was free so I wont deny it 
I asked about it being prescribed and I checked with my insurance company and it is not covered. He would have to be fed by a feeding tube or it would have to be some extreme medical need for this to be covered.

I saw a difference w/in 24 hrs when switching to Similac Sensitive from Similac Early Shield. I do believe if it's a lactose intolerance, a difference could be seen fast.
Jen, hoping this is the one for you! It makes SUCH a difference!!!

That is great that Sadie is reacting well to the formula!
My friend's daughter is using the same formula and gets it through our insurance. She gets the ready to feed because the insurance says that the RTF is better for reflux. She also gets 8 oz cans for the diaper bag. Make sure you check on it. It could save you a ton of money!
