Could really use some positive vibes. GOOD UPDATE!!
DS is getting worse. We were exposed to Swine Flu back on the 10th and diagnosed with it about one week later. (We were on vacation, so not able to get the official diagnosis til we got back and it was past the Tamiflu period.)
Since then he has been on a roller coaster of fever and symptoms. He got a bacterial infection on his legs, put on his first antibiotic and now a week after starting it he is worse. (Continuously around 101, but Christmas day was back up to 103.5) He barely drank anything yesterday.
We just talked with the doctor and it appears the next step is the chest x-ray and bloodwork. We are heading in at noon and being swept right in to the office. Could just use some vibes that the little guy will finally get better.
I would also like to add that there have been parents in the waiting room that have given us attitude when we are brought in before them. Please know that some children are extremely sick and can't be in the waiting room. Have patience.

Never thought I'd be so happy to hear he has a cold.
When he had the flu, he was so run down that he caught the bacterial infection. Doctor said he was so run down by the bacterial infection that he caught a new virus. But it's not pneumonia!!

I NEVER EVER give the evil eye when a kid is brought in before AJ. I always say a silent prayer that thank god my kid isn't that bad off yet and send that parent best wishes. Must be so hard.
DS had swine flu too and I opted not to give him the tamiflu b/c I was freaked out by all of the side effects. He was better in about a week and a half.
