Could this be reflux now at 5 months?
DS never had reflux issues. He was very gassy so we used milycon till he was about 12 weeks with his Similac RTF formula. After 3 months he was perfectly fine with the formula. A little spit up, but totally normal. Just the last week or so he has these smelly burps and then spits out this cottage cheese type thing (sorry TMI).
It's gross and after he spits it out he's ok, but he'll first cough a few times then burp and then that stuff comes up. Doesn't happen at every feeding, but it happens once a day sometimes. Is that acid reflux now? He's over 5 months old and has been good till now. Thanks Ladies!

DD is 5 months and what you are describing is what she has been doing her entire life, but its not reflux. Just normal spit up. I always say if you are concerned ask the pediatrician, but it sounds normal to me.

Thanks... just making sure b/c this is a new thing. I know he's not in pain and it seems normal... still eating and all so I figured I'd ask

Doesn't sound like reflux, and if he's still eating well I don't think it's anything to worry about.
