could this be teething related??
ds has only pooped 1x per day for the last 3 days, however his wet diapers have increased tremendously..amt & frq..he had a 102 feer yesterday, ped said tylenol & keep an eye on him...he's been cranky, gassy and sleepy. he hasn't pooped today, though last night while taking his temp he let out ALOT of runny green poop his wet diapers are very heavy and full (not usually, though)
could this be related to teething? his gums are soft, he'll be 4 mos next wk and he's bf'd

Re: could this be teething related??
nothing's changed. my diet is the same as before, he's only on breastmilk, no cold (thankfully). he's been drooling lately and putting his fingers in his mouth, but that's about it.
i tried a cool pacifier and it seemed to help for a while, but i don't know what to do re his poop. when i took his temp tonight, 100.8, he began pooping green, runny poop, no mucus. he's been passing gas all day but only pooped when i took his temp. i would think if he was constipated then he would've been passing harder stools, no?
anyway, I appreciate your concern and help! thanks for taking the time to reply!

I'm not so sure it's teething. At least my DS didn't have any issues with BM's. Is he eating the same? My DS didn't want to eat as much when he started teething and didn't sleep as much unless he had tylenol because he was in pain. Sounds more like a bug.

Re: could this be teething related??
Sounds like a bug, especially since his gums aren't hard. Emma was drooling, eating her hands, etc. at that age, and everyone always said she was teething, but I think it's just a stage. She still has no teeth and she's almost 11 months old.

Re: could this be teething related??
hmmm...so i guess the cool pacifier distracts him? he is eating like normal, if anything i think he's eaten more than usual b/c sometimes he would only be soothed by the boob. everything else is the same as it was before.
if it's a bug should he go in to the doc? or are those things usually viral? i hate the thought of him being uncomf, but not sure if there is anything they will be able to do for him.
thank you ladies for your help! i appreciate it
