She had emergency surgery to have her gall bladder removed on Tuesday. Now she's having complications, needed 2 transfusions and possibly has an infection and may need more surgery. She's a big believer in prayer, so can ya'll say a prayer for her. Thanks
Updated...she was released on Friday and is at home resting. She's still in pain, but her blood levels are back to normal and is healing well. Thanks everyone
Thanks everyone. Apparently she has severe anemia they are now telling her and that's the reason for the low blood. I'm not sure why they didn't mention that when they did the pre-op blood work (if they even did that). It's hard to get answers because my mom is on pain meds and loopy and no one in my family has been there to visit her (a whole other post!). My sister and I live in NY she (and the rest of the family) lives in MI. So one of my mom's dear friends is relaying information to us, and my sister sent her friend up there this evening to spend some time with her. They say she is doing okay now, but then again that's what they said before the transfusions so
