Re: Counter Depth Fridge...
My mom has an LG but just be aware, the counter depth is reallllly shallow. She is not crazy about it to be honest but didn't have much of a choice.

Re: Counter Depth Fridge...
When we re-did our kitchen our contractor was pushing us toward the counter-depth fridge, which was considerably more expensive and more shallow as pp stated (we bought LG appliances ourselves). We ended up going with the regular fridge and are happy with the decision. Just a thought!

Re: Counter Depth Fridge...
We were going to go with GE cafe (which has a more industrial look) but ended up making a last minute decision to switch to Jennair appliances. Most cabinet depth fridges are the same inside or substantially similar. Kitchen Aid and Jennair are pretty much identical with different exteriors to match the other pieces (Jennair comes with a euro handle and a pro handle). GE profile is more of a euro design and GE cafe is more of a pro design. I think there are a few other options, possibly samsung?
If you go to Appliance World in Oyster Bay they have a much smaller showroom than the AW in Huntington but when I was last there they had the GE cafe fridge next to the kitchen aid fridge and you can compare them. We ended up liking the pull out drawer better on the KA/Jennair model better than the GE -- bigger, pulls out further, holds a lot more. Jennair also has a 72" tall hidden hinge model that gives more of a built in look and a little more space -- this is the one we ended up going with. Their lower end model is regular height but I think it was one of the cheapest ones we saw if price is a major consideration.
Of course, if price is NO consideration, a built in fridge like SubZero or Thermador will give tons of space but they are like $8500+ (I do remember seeing a few floor models at various appliance stores -- I think there was a GE monogram floor model at an appliance store in Garden City, forgot the name)
Jennair is also running a rebate for $300 off fridges through the end of the month if you are considering that brand at all.
AND REMEMBER YOU CAN NEGOTIATE PRICES. We got a much better deal than the prices we were originally quoted, and ended up buying from Plessers in Babylon.

We got GREAT deals at Plessers. We got our range and fridge there. A LOT cheaper than anywhere else too and their service was great!
