I think most of us would be in a pickle if one or both in the couple lost their job, were injured, became sick, etc.
I agree 100%. How many of us could afford our homes and bills if something bad happened. I know for a fact that it would be struggle for DH and I, especially right now. As our payrolls go up, it should be much easier - but you never know what could happen.
