Crasher here - Re. Announcing Pregnancy #6
Ok, So my sister just found out she was pregnant recently with #6. Yep you read that right #6!
She is 31 and has been married for 14 years. Her oldest is almost 14 and youngest just turned 9. She has been on Nuva Ring for the last 6 years and well...it failed.
I know my family may not be kind about this. They are very opinionated and can be blunt and frankly RUDE.
Im trying to help her find a creative way to tell our family since she is so nervous...and I dont blame her.
Any ideas?

That's really sad that your family would react negatively to your sister. I really wish there was something I could say to help, but I can't think of anything. I wish your sister luck! I'm sorry that she has to deal with it. It's good that she has a sister like you trying to help her in her time of need. Good luck.

Congratulations to your sister! She is truly blessed!
I hope your family acts appropriately, but as we all know, people seem to stick their foots in their mouths all the time, especially when it comes to pregnant women. Maybe she can have her youngest tell them? They won't jump on him/her! As long as she acts really happy and enthusiastic about it, so should the rest of the family! (I hope.)

That's a good idea - put the youngest in a Big Brother/Big Sister t-shirt, and have them wear it in a room full of people. Hopefully your family can restrain themselves from saying anything too ridiculous, at least in front of your young nieces and nephews.

Crashing sorry...first congrats to u sis!!! I come from a big fam and everyone has 3 plus kids and def have gotten some reactions from people..I hope they do what right and congratulate her...
Anyways...maybe to lighten the mood how bout making a card or poster like making it like the brady bunch...3 kids on one side...parents in middle with say her due date in between and on the other side other 2 kids and a pic of sonogram
Just a thought from my crazy head lol...good luck!!!

That is an awesome idea! 
Thanks everyone for the kind wishes and recommendations. She plans on telling them tomorrow after her sono. I will update with the reaction she gets. Fingers crossed.
