CRAZY STUFF HAPPENED TO DH & I LAST NIGHT!!!(LONG)

Yesterday I went to pick up my hubby from the subway station after his LONG day, we went to eat and then drove home. In our area its sooooooo hard to find parking so we were circling and circling and FINALLY found a spot! So we go to parallel park... we are backing up into the spot and BAM this lady comes zooming down the street and puts the front of her car right into the spot! So now we are in a "V" formation.... Our cars back is 1/2 way in the spot and then her front is 1/2 way in the spot.

My hubby gets out of the car and she rolls down her window and he says in a CALM way, "Mrs. we were here first, come on now!" She said, "I'm freaking 6 months preganant and I dont care if you were here first, I wanna park my car and go home!" Since she pulled the preggo card my hubby replies with,"well my wife is 3 months pregnant... that has nothing to do with it!"

He then comes back in the car and I tell him let me try to talk to her, woman to woman... maybe she will be more receptive. So I go to ger window and she rolls it down and says, "*** do you want?" I said, "I dont want to fight, you know we were here before you even got onto the block".... THEN she takes out this piece of paper from her glove compartment and says,"you see this piece of paper b*itch Its my connection to the cops,I work for them and have a hookup, Im calling the cops right now and you'll see what happens to you".

At that point I get back into my car and I was telling my husband I think we should just let the crazzy woman take the spot, but he refused... he insisted that it has nothing to do with the spot... he said its about the principal behind it and she shouldnt be throwing her weight around just because she has a "hook up" with the cops. So we wait... her in her car and us in our car both of us half way in the spot and about 20 cars BLOCKED on the street b/c they cant pass through!! IT WAS RIDICULOUS!!

My husband told me to call 911 from our phone, so I did. While I was on the phone with them is seems like she called over a family member or friend and it was a guy that honestly looked really scary, like a thug. He BANGS on our car window and starts cursing and the 911 operator told us not to engage and keep the windows closed. 5 minutes later the guy screams through the glass... "FINE you want the spot, I'll tell her to leave but watch out I got all your car info and im gonna come after you". So the lady speeds out of the spot and we park. 2 minutes later the cops come.

We told the cops that they were too late and the lady and the other guy drove off already... but we told him that the guy threatned us and he said he would go patrol the block to look for them. Come to find out they find them a block away, they were both sitting in the car (this is like 10mins later). This worried us a lot... why were they waiting there...I was thinking our car was gonna get demolished if we left it there.

The cops question them and question us and run all our license plates/drivers licenses in the sysytem.. they come back to us and say "Im sorry she threw the fact that she a 'hook up' around. The guy she is with is dangerous and has a record thats why we are questioning him, since he threatned you its up to you.. what do you want to do?" I told him I dont wanna make it a bigger issue than it already is but im scared of the guy and my car. The police officer assured me that I shouldnt move my car because if anything happens to it they are going straight to the guy.

We walked home but the cops stayed with them for a good 1/2 hour after that.

Whew! if you read all that you are a trooper!! What do you guys think HONESTLY!!! Be honest... were we wrong? What would you have done?

P.S. our car is in the same spot we left it in and snowed in... I hope its ok! Chat Icon
