Credit Card debt question
Those that have credit card debt (which includes us- home purchases)... what cards have you found to be the best?
Have you transferred your debt to a 0% APR credit card? If so, which was the best one you've found for the longest period (typically they're 12 months right)?

Re: Credit Card debt question
We use AMEX for everything. It's linked with Costco and we bet either 1 or 1.5% back at the end of the year which equals one huge check from Costco.

Re: Credit Card debt question
I've transferred balances to 15 month cards - it all depends on the deal you are offered. bankrate.com has some good offers going - you can apply for whatever is right for you, or wait to get something in the mail.
Right now I have a 0% card through Bank of America that we used for DH's last semester of Grad school. 0% instead of 7.25%.

I have the same - BOA transfers were 0% - I paid for my granite counter top on my VISA (I get rewards) - then I transferred to my 0% BOA - I got a $150 gift card to Home Depot from my rewards and havent paid any interest on any debt

same here. Chase gave me 0% for something like 12-18 months and no balance transfer fees. now i use my blue cash AmEx for everything and i am up to about $600 back for the year, and still going! AmEx does charge interst so that one I pay off in full each month.

Re: Credit Card debt question
I currently don't have one at 0% but, the best ones I've had in the past have been through Chase, 0% for a certain period of time on purchases and balance transfers(usually 12-15 months) and free balance transfers at any time.
