credit score question
i recently put a large purchase on credit. my score, obviously, took a nice dip.
assuming i continue to pay all my bills on time or make large payments... how long before my score comes back up? ON AVERAGE. i know there are a lot of variables, but i was wondering what i can expect to see.

Re: credit score question
It will go up a point or two with every large payment, but it won't be back to normal until that credit is wiped out.
ETA: At leas that's my experience.

credit score question
I think overall (at least in part) it depends on what percentage of your available credit has been used for the purchase. As you pay it off and the percentage of used credit drops, your score should increase

yeah, i just spent a truck-load of money
i think it will be 2/3 of all of my current available credit. mind you, i'll start chopping it down as of mid march. i hate owing. this will be my only debt... thank goodness.
