crib teething guards

Can anybody recommend their crib rail teething guards they have used. My son is biting the rails and I don't want him to get a splinter or get the paint from the wood in his mouth. TIA

Re: crib teething guards

i think mine are from safety first, i got them at BRU, they're plastic and they just slide right on. They're right by all the safety stuff.

Abby had these til she figured out how to take them off and throw them across the room. Her crib is also dark and we saw that the plastic rails took off some of the finish so we got these from BRU online:

But truthfully DS never really bothered with the rail...the guard is in perfect condition. We left it on for #2 because it's hard to believe that could be the same way.

At first I wanted them in pink, but I thought maybe it best to have it actually MATCH the crib than it be a contrast. They look really nice and they are machine washable. That crib will be her bed someday and I cant keep having the finish coming off now or it will look horrid.

Re: crib teething guards

Thanks for your responses. Where did you find the cloth coverings? I went to BRU and target and they do not have them in the store. Do I need to order online??

We have these and they are great. They are so easy to put on and you don't notice them on the crib.
