chewing the crib, how are those plastic guards?
DS will chew on the outside top rails of his crib (now that he stands in there and the crib is as low as it can go). I know they sell clear guards but my DS is pretty rough and I'm pretty sure he would pull them off. Are they sturdy? Do they stay on well? Any advice?
Thanks!

We just bought this one. It's great! I've used the gummy cover and it didn't stay on too well and once one part came up DS just pulled the rest up.

that cover looks GREAT - I would definitely try that!! Leah chewed on the rail too and we had to rig up her sheets over the side, etc. I would def try that one that she posted!

NOPE!!! It Velcros on the outside and he doesn't even know it comes off. We had it on before he starting standing, so he just thinks it is part of the crib. We do not hang toys from it either bc I don't want him pulling on it plus they would be on the outside.
Washes very nicely.

WE have this one too
Wish If ound it earlier - before Seamus put teeth marks in the crib!
We have it on and the rings to hold toys are inside his crib. We hung up his singing puppy toy and he just lays there and pulls the string on it to make it sing. He loves having the toy within his reach while he is lying down!!

Re: chewing the crib, how are those plastic guards?
They plastic guards didn't fit our crib, and we tried applying the gummy ones twice. They did not adhere--maybe because there were already toothmarks on the wood, I don't know.
We did get a cloth cover for the front rail on the crib. The side rails we left alone in the end.
