Cries when she wakes up...
Emily never used to cry when she woke up from naps...she would just coo and make cute little noises. Now every time she wakes up hysterical. It doesn't matter if it's a short nap or a long one -- so I don't think it's that she's still tired..
What is it?
Her teeth?
Nightmares?
Seperation Anxiety?
I feel so bad from her and want to go in there to pick up my happy smiley girl again!!!

I am going through something similar - I think it is that they want out NOW so they can run around - before they were happy being in their crib with their toys, but now that they are mobile they would rather be taken out asap.

How old is she? She might be learning about cause and effect. I remember this stage.......She realizes that you're out there, even when she can't see you. Now she knows if she cries, you'll come. For my kids, this stage lasted a short time. I don't think it's her teeth, nightmares, etc. if she stops when you arrive. If she continues even after you take her out, then maybe one of those.........

I'm going through the same thing! She used to stay in her crib for a little while after she woke up. Now, forget it! She screams her head off but she's fine once I go in and take her out.

Christopher does the same exact thing. Usually he does it more when he wakes up from a nap. When he first wakes up in the mornings, he just whines a bit.

Um, yeah, Alex has been doing THAT since the day she was born. I never knew that babies wake up doing anything other than crying!

I totally agree!!! Ever since Steven became mobile he cries when I try to put him in the crib and then cries as soon as he wakes up to get out!!!!!
