crown molding rec?
I know I asked a while ago, but I didn't get any recommendations.... and I really want to get this done  Anyone have a handyman or contractor who installed crown molding at a reasonable price? We have about 500 linear feet to do and I got an estimate of $5/ft with materials... not painted..... I don't know if that's good or not, and I didn't anticipate spending THAT much.... so I want a few estimates :)

That seems like a good quote but it depends on the type of molding they are using. I know someone who spent upwards of 6k on materials for their crown moldings.

our handyman charged us about $1250 to get the molding, paint and install. we only had it put in our living room and bedroom and also around the closet doors in the bedroom. i don't know the square footage though.
