crying

I am dog sitting - the dog was brought to my house, and he's crying. He's been here before and knows us - what can I do for him?

First I would check to make sure that the dog's collar/harness is not too tight.

I am not sure the size of the dog, but try to bring him as close to your body as you can & slowly pet him while talking in a soothing voice. Start on the back of the neck & the back & move to the head & even the ends of the ears. This always sooths my dogs. Finish with a treat and a "good boy!"

If the dog is more the playful type, see if a game of catch does not do the trick.

My dog cries for everything, he is just a big baby. Totally our fault cuz we coddle him, but nothing is wrong, he is just a whiner, LOL LOOOVES to talk a lot too, so funny.

thanks - he has no collar on in the house

But I took him out for a walk
then to play in the garden
then I brushed him
then I gave him a little ppeanut butter

and now he luves me
