CSE today
We had our annual meeting today to decide on progr for K next year. We decided on 8:1:3 because of some behaviors that need to be addressed. The teacher of the class we met today assured is that she will teach him all of the curriculum that was available. I'm still not sure We made the right decision and only time will tell. Anyone have any advice? Thoughts?

Re: CSE today
I know every district is different....what were your options for in-district K? How many self-contained classes are offered? What type of Pre-K is your DC coming from? My son is moving from a 8:1:3 Pre-k into a 12:1:3 K mainly because that's the only type of special class offered. The other two options are integrated, but he isn't ready for that quite yet. It is so challenging to know if your decision is the right one. I have no idea, but was reassured by the team that will be working with him. I think you just have to hope for the best and stay as involved as possible in order to make sure that all of your DC's needs are being met appropriately. Good luck.
