I have the Sultra 1" Curling Wand. It's amzing, my hair is STUBBORN and curls it all in 10 minutes flat, curls last into the next day.

It depends how you like it. If I wrap the hair tightly around and hold for longer than 5 seconds, it will give a tighter curl. I like looser waves so I just gently wrap the ends around the barrel, wait a few seconds and release it. The barrel gets super hot so you can play around with it to see what type of curl you like. If you check out youtube, they have some good tutorials on the sultra. :)

try the cortex one it has 4 different wands to change it to depending on what curl you want!
