Curly/wavy haired girls!
What hair products do you use? How do you do your hair?

Re: Curly/wavy haired girls!
I use Biosilk silktherapy on damp hair out of the shower.
then I use Garnier curl construct mousse (the purple hold level) and sqrunch.
Then I let it dry naturally. Works pretty well. If it's super humid out I spray with hairspray too after the mousse

Re: Curly/wavy haired girls!
I always comb my hair with conditioner while I'm in the shower to make it more manageable when I get out.
When I'm out, I use Pantene detangler for curly hair, then brush through.
Then I use a very small amount of Tresemme Flawless Curls Hydration Lotion Creme and work through with my fingers.
THEN I use Tresemme Flawless Curls Mousse and scrunch.
Then a very light spray of hairspray (brand doesn't make a difference to me) and air dry.
It has taken me years and years to perfect it! I wish I could figure out how to do my hair without it having to air dry, but I just don't think it's possible for me.

I also use Treseme Mousse for curly hair, and then the spray gel.

Re: Curly/wavy haired girls!
i comb my hair in the shower after i put in the conditioner. when i get out, while it's still very wet, i finger comb through curling mousse, and then scrunch it. then i take a pea size of gel and scrunch that through. this is all while my head is upside down. then i spray it with Aussie spray sprunch gel. love this! and it definitely makes a different.
i do this at night right before bed and then sleep with wet hair. i wake up with really nice curls.
if i need to shower during the day then i keep scrunching through the day while it's air drying. otherwise no touching it!

Re: Curly/wavy haired girls!
Thanks all! Even though my bathroom cabinet looks like a Duane Reade of curl products, I will probably buy all the products you mentioned! Wish me luck to FINALLY get it right!

Re: Curly/wavy haired girls!
The best product I've ever used is Aveda Be Curly curl enhancer. I read in a magazine years ago Julia Roberts uses this. Who know if it's true or not but it was worth a shot. What I do is sections hair and then twirls around fingers to make a banana curl effect. If that makes sense. I do this now and it looks awesome.
I always use Sebastian Potion 9 and a little Biosilk mixed in together. Then I either use the Aveda or I use this hair help
HTH good luck with the curly locks

Re: Curly/wavy haired girls!
Aveda phomolient. I comb it wet with a wide toothed comb, then put about 5 pumps in my hand and rub together and put throughout my hair. Then I scrunch and let dry.

You can get it from their website, amazon also sells it. I have never found it in a store though. The 10oz bottle lasts me a super long time!!!

I ordered this a long time ago based on a glowing recommendation. I find it does absolutely nothing for me. In fact, I prefer to use gel or mousse and I think my hair comes out better this way than with the Mixed Chics. If it's a rainy day, forget it--the mixed chics makes me frizz like I have nothing in it. That being said, the girls that recommended it have very tight, kinky curls and I do not. From what I've read so far, I think the tighter your curl, the happier you'll be with this product--JMO.

Re: Curly/wavy haired girls!
I either use a combo of Aveda Flax Seed Gel & Confixor Gel or use them seperate. (both are liquid gels)
Ouidad's rake & shake styling method is what I've been doing for years - it's the only thing that works for my hair.
Scrunching sends my hair into a frizzy fit.
Always blow dry with diffuser.
