Current Global Leaders you admire
Who are some global leaders you admire?
As I said in another post, I think Nelson Mandela is such a role model. When he became president of South Africa, he could have gone after all the past leaders and tried and hung them. Instead, he pushed for truth and peace. South Africa could easily have gone the way of war and bloodshed yet with his message of peace and hope, it didn't. I think we can all learn from that.

There aren't too many. I personally wish that Bobby Kennedy lived. I think things would have changed. Jimmy Carter also has this aura about him. A good one.

Well, I have always admired Ronald Reagan... He is no longer living of course but he is the first person that comes to mind.
I'm currently reading "I love you, Ronnie" written by Nancy Reagan which is just amazing- what a wonderful man he was on a personal level, aside from the good he did for our Country. He is such a positive person to look up to! I just love him and when he passed on and they showed footage of him and went over all he had done- I balled, over and over again.

Mandela was a great leader, shame Thabo Mbeki, IMO couldnt follow him up in a good way.
I currently am not impressed with any world leaders at the moment. A few years ago I would have said Blair, but now IMO he is just a puppet and hasnt done much for the UK. John Howard is a pretty good leader, even if at times he reminds me of a koala and is a puppet 50% of the time.
Past leaders I admire:
The past leader of Japan (cant remember his name) really got Japan's stuff together.
Konrad Adenauer was a great leader of Germany after WW2.
Currently I am HATING Mugabe.
