Cutting toddlers nails..

Does anyone's toddler give them a REALLY HARD TIME when they get their finger nails or toenails cut???

I CANNOT do it anymore. Megan screams and fights me so bad! If I put something on tv for her and put her in the highchair, I can usually get it done. But her toenails..forget it! I literally have to try when she is sleeping.

Does anyone else have this problem??

Toe nails are more of a fuss so we just do it when asleep

You would think I was trying to cut his fingers off by the way he carries on. I can only do it while he is watching Noggin, preferrably Wow wow wubbzy, so he is distracted. He tries to thrash around, it is ridiculous!

I have to do it when she is sleeping else it's almost impossible!

I don't think I've ever cut Lauren's toenails because she screams bloddy murder. I just can't! And they look so bad, but I gave up a long time ago!

Her finger nails are tough too, but if she's in the right mood, she will let me.

I do all of DD's nails while she sleeps. When she is awake, she won't even let me hold her foot for 2 seconds....same thing with her hands. She hates the restriction, I guess.

He fights me. I try to do it while he's in his highchair but I have to like pin down his arm. Forget about toenails!
