Cycles after Pill - I know it has been asked a million times
Sorry, I know this has been asked but looking for - I don't know - guidance? Reassurance? company? not really sure.
I went off the pill beginning of december and had a normal aunt flow about 5 weeks later. Well now that has been more than 8 weeks ago. I feel totally normal, no symptoms of either aunt flow coming or anything else unusual.
Do you think it is just my body readjusting? I was on seasonale for 10 years, so I used to only get AF every 3 months.
Do you think I should test? We have been using condoms and PNP.....so I know its very unlikely.
I guess I should just go buy a test but I will feel dumb when it is negative like I wasted money for something that is soooo unlikely - I guess I am also a little scared if it is positive!

my cycles have been crazy for the past 4 months since i came off the pill...so maybe it is ur body just readjusting?

it could definitely just be your body readjusting to being off the pill, but i would probably take a test just for peace of mind.

well i guess you can put me into the "company" category, since i'm going through the same thing. I went off BC on Jan 30th and no AF yet! I took a pregnancy test last week just in case and it was negative, so i'm thinking that my body is just out of whack for now.. hopefully everything gets back on track! (but figures, im going on vacation soon and watch AF will show up then!) but as the pp mentioned, i would take a test just in case.

I know that for me, my first cycle off BCP was very regular - 30 days or something like that.
It was my second cycle that lasted like 68 days. IIRC, after that loooong second cycle I went pretty much back to normal and have been regular ever since.
So I think it's normal, and I wouldn't worry unless you don't see some kind of regular cycles in the next 3 cycles or so.

ITA. I'm off the pill for over a year now and my cycles still aren't completely predictable/regular.

It took me 40 days to get a regular period after taking my last pill. I called the doctor and I guess they were backed up because by the time they called me back (2 days later) I got it.
