Dammit - GD Diagnosis
I took the 3 hour on Friday and just got the call at 5pm today, almost a full week later! I'm annoyed because I thought I was in the clear since it had been so long and I've definitely been enjoying my sweets in the last week.
Of course they left a message and I wasn't able to ask any questions. I have no idea what's okay for me to eat. Does anyone have any suggestions? It may be a while before I'm able to get an appointment with the MFM. I'm already 30 weeks along with twins. It seems very late to be finding this out now.

Dammit - GD Diagnosis
Don' worry! I had GD my first pregnancy. It really was fine, I just limited my carbs and especially sweets. Watch for added sugars. For breakfast I would eat a piece of whole wheat toast with peanut butter, I'd have plain greek yogurt and add in my own fruit. Lunch would be salads or wraps on a whole wheat wrap. Dinner would be a protein, veggie and something like brown rice. Snacks = fruit, cheese and crackers, an avacodo. I mainly avoided artificial sweets and white carbs...

Re: Dammit - GD Diagnosis
I have GD. Definitely cut out the sweets (candy, cookies, iced cream).
You have to make sure you eat every 2-3 hers. Breakfast, snack, lunch, snack, dinner, snack.
I've been eating for snacks Greek yogurt, apples (1/2) with either peanut butter or low fat cheddar, whole grain pretzels w/peanut butter.
Just stick to drinking water, no juice, iced tea, lemonade.
Eta: one of my favorite snacks are the Yoplait Greek frozen yogurt pops, really hits the spot on a hot day.
