Damned if I do, damned if I dont...(sleep related)
No matter what, I'll never get any sleep with this kid...
Cailen will only sleep on his belly. I posted about this in the past, but we are finally letting him do this - its his 2nd night in a row, and he slept so much better. But tonight I'm on baby duty, and I swear, i am hovering over him every second making aure he is still breathing...
so much for me getting sleep tonight

me too-that was the rule then. DH & I were discussing that we both slept on our belly and we are OK back then they didn't want kids sleeping on their backs b/c they thought they would choke on spit up

I'm telling you, belly sleeping was a life saver for us. I was nervous at first too, but as soon as he was able to get himself there on his own there was nothing I could do about it. And he slept SO much better. If I have a bad sleeper next time around I will put them on their belly earlier than i did with Luca. Now he sleeps in a million positions through the night.

Milani sleeps better this way also and she is only 3-1/2 weeks. I literally had to put my t-shirt in the pack n play so that she would think she was still on me. At first I would worry..but not so much anymore because she grunts like crazy when she is waking up.

I was so nervous as well, I was going in DS room to check on him every 10min. But my Dr. told told me to just leave him.

I agree. Matthew was doing this and then getting stuck on his belly. I found that after a few nights, he figured out how to move around and sleeping has become much better. And I needed to learn how to relax.
