No, I was too fat to get up on a bar and didn't want to embarrass myself. Actually, when I was in school, I never saw people dancing on bars. It wasn't done.

Got up on a bar to dance and when my head almost hit the things dangling from the ceiling I got down - with my luck I would've clocked myself out cold!

I used to go to one bar that had this ledge against the wall - it was 12" deep and higher then the table. My friends and I got up there quite a bit but never on a bar or table.

only on a table - never a bar. And it was a table in a dorm room, so it wasn't anything TOO crazy. Polishing off the entire bottle of Bacardi Razz that was hanging out of my mouth was a little crazy.   :

Yes! And I swear I wasn't drunk. It was so much fun!
It was my birthday---we were at the Village Idiot. I was 24, it was my first birthday with DH & we were with a bunch of friends.
I also danced on some platform thing in front of a Dj booth in a club in Florida on Spring break, but I was drunk then.
