Leave it is good too. Same concept, but you hide a treat under your hand. when Tiny ignores it, that is when you treat him.

scott--you should teach Tiny the "drop it" command. When they have something in their mouth you show a treat and say drop it. when they drop it give them a treat.
This has actually turned into Lola's favorite activity. All day long she will actually find stuff to bring me for a treat. She took this to the next level, but at leat I know she will never eat anything she shouldn't. She will bring me everything she knows she shouldnt eat .. a piece of fuzz, a piece of paper, etc.

PICA is a serious and dangerous thing...I would seek some professional advice..
this time hopefully he is ok....but there are and can be serious reprocussions if this behavior isn't stopped
