Darn tooth!!
I had a root canal about 10 years ago. I was just flossing and the part of the tooth that the dentist rebuilt just fell out into my hand. Now I have the shell of my tooth in my mouth with just a hole inside - sorry kinda graphic. How annoying is this!!! I am MOH in a wedding next weekend and I dont want to get it fixed until it's over for fear that I may swell like a chipmunk when he refills it (highly unlikely but I dont want to take that chance!) What a PITA!

i think there is some kinda temp filling you can get over the counter... maybe that will help at least to keep it from getting food stuck in it and getting infected!

That sounds good. Its annoying to have a bowlish type thing in my head. The part that is under the gum is still there so nothing is getting trapped. Its actaully better than when I had the filling in it because I know nothing is being stuck. My tooth now is like 2 1/2 sides, with nothing in the middle. I'm going to see if I can find the temp filling stuff today, thanks!

The tooth itself is dead. The part from the root canal is filled. It is the part where my dentist (not the person who did the RC) made it so I had a tooth there again. Im going to get it done next Wednesday (Monday is my 2nd anniversary )
