day care moms....birthday party ???
I am starting to think about DD's second birthday, and since she is now in daycare, i was thinking of inviting the kids in her class.
How many of you have done this? How many of you have gotten an invitation this way.
DD has been there for about a month and a half, but already know some of the kids names and has "friends".

I didn't invite any kids from his daycare nor have we been invited.
We all drop off the kids at different times so I don't know any of the other parents. I just have friends with kids and family. Plus, he's only 2. I did bring in munchkins for class.
I figured when he's older and can really tell me who he's friends with then I'll invite them. Right now they're so young and all just play, but no one he's close with.

thanks! I wasn't sure what to do. I'll probably send in munchkins on her birthday, but choose not to invite anyone now.

For DD's 3rd birthday, we invited the kids from her class. About 1/2 of them came, with invited them with family since it was a family party (siblings, parents).
We've been invited to a bunch and always true to go, but I would say we started doing the birthday circuit when the kids started turning 3. Not too many parties with them before then.

We've been invited to a couple through daycare, not many. Personally, we've never invited anyone from daycare to my kids' birthday parties since it's been family only for the most part.

We were invited to two parties this past year.. both for kids turning 2 or 3yrs old.
I went to one. The second we had to pass on.
AJ will be 3 this year and in school nearly a month. I don't have plans for a bday party for her, tho.
NEXT year when she's 4, I will throw one and yes, she will be inviting all her classmates.

When DS turned 2 I did not invite DS's daycare friends. I went to the daycare and had a small party there and then DS had his real party with family over the weekend.

I am thinking of just doing a small party for her and her friends and family and then separately doing something at day care.
