Daycare babies...
How many hours a day does your DC spend at daycare?
I feel like when DS eventually goes to Daycare it will be a long day for him.
Just wondering how many hours your children spend there.

Between 7-8 hours - ETA - 2 days a week, he is there for 9 hours!

I was waiting to see if someone else had long hours.
Right now my mom watches DS, but when he goes to daycare in a few months, he may be there for 9-10 hours.
With working a full 8 hour day plus traveling back and forth, the day ends up long.
I feel like I am going to be such a terrible mommy for making him be there for so long!

When she starts she is going to be there about 11-12 hours a day.  I am going to drop her off at 7:30am and pick her up ay 7pm.

so true--sometimes we drop him off by 7:00am and pick him up at 6:00 pm....it is an insanely long day!!

Until 1 week ago, he was going 5 days a week from 7:30am through 5:30-6:00pm. So that was 10 hours/day
Now he goes 3 days a week. 1 day 8:00am-6:30pm and 2 days 9:00am-6:30pm. I have 2 days off during the week. I put him there for a few hours if I need to run errands on my day offs. It's so cold outside.

She doesn't go to daycare, but DD goes to my MIL's house for usually 10 hours a day, 4 days a week.

Right now she goes 3 days a week 8 - 5 or 5:30. I work the other 2 days at home. Right now it works, although I'm on thin ice with my job allowing me to continue working from home 2 days a week.
When #2 comes I'm probably going to go PT and have those 2 or 3 days off to be with them more.

Yes - its nuts. I work in NYC so I have to live by the train schedule and my work schedule.
